I can't recommend Alfredos enough. My wife and I found it Sept'02 by accident & we've been back 3 more times already (now Dec'02). And we're from Macon, GA about 90 miles south - each direction! The all-male staff are incredibly attentive. Elegant, intuitive, intellegent, well-dressed, and quiet. They know many of the customers by name because it seems like once you go there you KEEP going there. You almost can't help it!
These guys are professionals. They could just as easily work at the Club at Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida or at the Cloister at Sea Island. But, my good fortune, they choose to work at Alfredos on Cheshire Bridge Road.
You'll spend $20 to $30 (or $40 if you get carried away) for each adult including appetizer, couple of glasses of wine, and desert / coffee.
BIG menu - and if you like veal then you're really in luck - veal franchese, veal picatta, veal parmesian, 7 other veal dishes. I found Alfredo's menu somewhere else on-line and printed it out so I could study it the whole way up there from Macon last time we went!
We go at 5:30pm or 6 and they're not busy. But by 7pm they are slammed - so be sure to call ahead for a reservation. You won't regret it.
